Tom Brady is no longer competing directly against New York, but its fans clearly haven’t forgotten him.
The 47-year-old former Patriots quarterback recently saw his status as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders become official. The news was marked across the football landscape, but probably most notably during a “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update sketch.
Co-host Colin Jost, a native New Yorker, couldn’t resist a Super Bowl-related dig at Brady.
“Tom Brady has officially become a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders,” Jost began, “although Brady himself is still fully owned by the Giants.
