Tom Brady made his weekly appearance on the Dennis & Callahan show on WEEI this morning and said it's way too early to be comparing this season's team, its quick start and the offense's accomplishments to the record-setting 2007 season.
"We got off to a good start," Brady said. " It's just three games in. We're going to try to make some improvements, a lot of good execution. We need four more months of it."
Still, when it came to comparing an offense that has averaged just shy of 40 points per game to the 2007 one in which Brady threw 50 touchdowns passes, the Pats quarterback did mention how the extra chemistry between he and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has made a difference.
