FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is accustomed to being among the league leaders in different statistical categories, and now that includes some causes that have great meaning to him.
The red cleats that Brady wore in the team's Dec. 2 victory over the Minnesota Vikings as part of the NFL's "My Cleats, My Cause" initiative currently have the top auction bid among all players. Having topped $15,000, it is almost double the next bid.
The number should rise with more than two weeks left in the bidding.
