After the Patriots’ 34-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Tom Brady repeatedly boiled the defeat down to a simple theme: “That was just a bad day.”
The New England offense struggled to stay on the field or add to the scoreboard against Mike Vrabel’s defense. Brady felt the heat, completing just 51 percent of his passes in an oft-collapsing pocket as the Titans picked up three sacks. The quarterback noted Tennessee brought pressure while limiting his options downfield.
“I think it’s probably a mix of both — good rush, good coverage,” Brady told reporters postgame.
