The New England Patriots’ historic comeback in Super Bowl LI, led by Tom Brady, may be headed to the big screen.
A group of writers, headlined by the Oscar-nominated duo behind The Fighter, are developing a book and film on Brady, EW has confirmed.
Crafting the projects are four writers familiar with handling Boston stories. Penning the screenplay will be Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson, writers of The Fighter, while handling the book will be authors Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, who co-authored Boston Strong, which was recently adapted into Patriots Day starring Mark Wahlberg.
