In the week before the Super Bowl, Tom Brady Sr. offered some advice to Nickell Robey-Coleman after the Los Angeles Rams cornerback hinted age was catching up with Tom Brady Jr.
“Sometimes it’s better to shut your mouth,” Brady Sr. said. “Because it’s not in anybody’s best interest to give any of the Patriots bulletin-board material.”
Tom Brady Jr. completed 21 passes for 262 yards against Robey-Coleman and Co. After the Patriots’ 13-3 win over the Rams, his father expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to watch his son make a dream come true — for the sixth time.
