NEW YORK -- There will be no settlement in Tom Brady's Deflategate court case.
On Monday afternoon, Judge Richard Berman thanked both sides for their work toward a settlement, but announced that an agreement was not reached. Berman said he "fully expects" to issue a decision by either Tuesday or Wednesday.
"Certainly before Friday," Berman said.
Berman noted, though, that he would not make a ruling Monday.
Both sides were given the opportunity to present further arguments, but neither had anything to add. NFL attorney Daniel Nash simply thanked Berman, as did NFLPA attorney Jeffrey Kessler.
