Tom Brady pays up for Michigan's loss to Ohio State

FOXBORO — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady bleeds Wolverine maize and blue but was caught wearing Buckeye scarlet and gray in the locker room today.

Brady was on the business end of a wager with defensive back Nate Ebner on the outcome of last Saturday’s clash between Michigan and defending national champion Ohio State. Coach Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes crushed Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines, 42-13.

“If I had lost it would have been a Michigan (jersey), that’s pretty much the crush of it,” said Ebner. “That’s the game every year.”

Brady was a two-year starter (1998-99) at Michigan and was 20-5 in 25 games his junior and senior season.
