FOXBORO — The Broncos’ celebrated defense shouldn’t be a major threat to the Patriots offense now that Tom Brady’s mighty triumvirate is back in working order.
That’s because the Patriots are built to buck the Broncos’ weaknesses, which are the coverage skills of their linebackers and safeties. Surely, the Broncos have plenty of talent, but they’ll struggle to keep up with Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola.
“It was good to have our guys on the field last week,” Brady said. “That was a big part of us getting better and making some improvements, and we’re going to need to do it again this week.
