The injuries have piled up on the offensive side of the ball for the Patriots and got worse in Sunday's dramatic, 27-26 win over the Giants when Julian Edelman suffered a broken foot and could be out until January.
Edelman caught a 12-yard pass from Tom Brady at the end of the first quarter but Jasper Brinkley rolled up on Edelman's right ankle. Edelman's left plant foot was the one which broke.
Although the team still won, there is only so much the offense can accomplish with tackles Sebastian Vollmer (concussion) and Marcus Cannon (toe) still out and Nate Solder (elbow) out for the year.
