FOXBORO -- The hand injury that landed Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on the injury report is a new one.
According to a source, Brady suffered it during practice today when one of his teammates accidentally ran into him and jammed his right throwing hand.
X-rays were taken revealing no structural damage.
However, given soreness and some swelling, it's hard to tell if Brady will practice tomorrow or be limited. Brady was listed as a limited participant in practice today. Brady was present for the start of practice window that the media is allowed to view.
The timing of the injury isn't the best, obviously, but it won't keep him from playing in Sunday's AFC Championship game.
