Karen Guregian reports that Patriots QB Tom Brady jammed his throwing hand at practice after accidentally being run into. However, X-rays later showed that Brady has structural damage.
The Patriots officially listed Brady as limited for Wednesday’s practice with a hand injury.
While not surprising, a source tells Jeff Howe that Brady will play in Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Jaguars, barring an unexpected setback.
Brady, 40, is a former sixth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2000. He signed a two-year, $41 million contract extension with the Patriots back in 2016, which included a $28 million signing bonus.
