Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has always been one to acknowledge those who have helped him succeed throughout his career.
One such person was Tom Martinez, Brady's quarterback coach who died at the age of 66 four years ago. Martinez coached at the College of San Mateo, Brady's hometown in California, and worked with Brady on his mechanics during the offseason.
Brady took to Facebook to honor his late teacher Sunday on the anniversary of Martinez's death:
"On this day four years ago, I lost a world-class coach, mentor and friend, Tom Martinez. Tom made everyone around him a better person.
