The next Deflategate appeal — yes, there's another one — won't overlap with the 2015 NFL playoffs, as some had anticipated.
A federal appeals court in New York will hear the NFL's appeal on March 3, according to Reuters.
The NFL has appealed Judge Richard Berman's decision to vacate Roger Goodell's arbitration award, which essentially wiped out Tom Brady's initial four-game suspension.
The ruling came down on Sept. 3, and Brady was the starter seven days later when the defending Super Bowl champions opened the season against Pittsburgh. Brady has gone on to torch the entire league, tossing 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions for the unbeaten Patriots.
