Tom Brady breaks silence: 'It feels good to be able to (play football) again'

FOXBORO — Tom Brady broke the NFL last week. He decided to break his silence today.

The Patriots quarterback addressed the media for the first time since Super Bowl XLIX, as his victory in Judge Richard Berman's courtroom opened the door for Brady to speak without looking over his shoulder.

The general message, of course, was Brady looking forward to moving on to the regular season.

"I love football," Brady said. "I love the sport, and I love playing in the NFL. To get the opportunity to do it, and with the help of my teammates and my friends, I’ve had so much support with my family through all this.
