Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has reached another milestone.
Against the New York Jets Sunday afternoon, the 41-year-old surpassed Peyton Manning for most career passing yards in NFL history. Entering the contest 147 yards behind Manning, Brady notched the record-setting yardage on a short four-yard pass to running back Sony Michel in the second quarter.
Brady sits atop the list that includes Manning (79,279), Brett Favre (77,693), and Drew Brees (77,789). He still trails the trio in regular-season passing yards, ranking fourth all-time.
