Tight end Jack Westover and outside linebacker Keshawn Banks reverted to the New England Patriots’ practice squad on Monday.
Both served as standard elevations for what became a 34-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium the afternoon prior.
Westover, 25, saw one snap on offense during his NFL debut in Miami Gardens. The undrafted rookie also had a hand in 13 snaps on special teams for a tight end depth chart featuring Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper and Jaheim Bell. He joined the practice squad as the calendar turned to October after reaching an injury settlement with the Seattle Seahawks during training camp in August.
