October 13, 2013, is a day that New England sports fans will forever remember as “Comeback Day”.
Nine years ago today it all began when the 4-1 Patriots were trailing against the 5-0 New Orleans Saints 27-23.
At the 2:16 mark of the fourth quarter, it appeared quarterback Tom Brady threw a game-sealing interception, but his defense managed to hold the Saints to a 3-and-out thanks to some questionable play calling.
With 1:13 remaining in the game, Brady and the offense got the football back at their own 30-yard line, what resulted was the future hall-of-fame quarterback creating his 39th career game-winning drive and leaving the visiting Saints stunned.
