A Super Bowl championship may be priceless. But the rings players get for winning them? They apparently do have a price.
We found out just how high that price can be when three former New England Patriots players put their Super Bowl rings up for auction.
A recent event from Heritage Auction saw a total of 17 world championship rings sold, including two from some familiar names.
Former Patriots linebacker Tully Banta-Cain sold his 2004 Super Bowl ring for $64,050.
Elsewhere, former Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson sold his 2018 Super Bowl ring $88,450.
