The Pro Football Hall of Fame released a list of 25 semifinalists for the Modern-Era Player division of its Class of 2025 on Wednesday, and three former Patriots are on it.
Adam Vinatieri, who nailed the game-winning kicks in Super Bowl XXXVI and Super Bowl XXXVIII, made the cut in his first year of eligibility. Vinatieri spent ten of his 24 seasons with the Patriots, and he holds the NFL records for points (2,673) and made field-goals (599).
Vince Wilfork and Rodney Harrison are both four-time semifinalists. Wilfork, a five-time Pro bowler, four-time second-team All-Pro, and one-time first-team All-Pro selection spent the first decade of his career with the Patriots before a brief stint with the Texans.
