Thomas Brown becomes first reported candidate for Patriots offensive coordinator position

Mike Vrabel’s search for the New England Patriots next offensive coordinator is officially underway.

The Patriots interviewed Chicago Bears interim head coach and offensive coordinator Thomas Brown about the open position on Tuesday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Brown interviewed for the offensive coordinator position in New England last year, but ultimately landed in Chicago as the Bears passing game coordinator.
