This Was Great Sign For Patriots In Drake Maye’s First NFL Start

Jacoby Brissett vowed to support Drake Maye after the rookie took his job with the Patriots. That’s easy to say when you’re surrounded by a boatload of reporters.

Maye provided arguably New England’s best offensive highlight of the season to date in his first NFL start. With the Houston Texans leading by two touchdowns late in the first half at Gillette Stadium, Maye cut the Patriots’ deficit in half with a gorgeous 40-yard touchdown pass to Kayshon Boutte.
