The New England Patriots selected a few good players in the 2020 NFL Draft, but one of them stood above the rest as a key contributor this past season.
That player is Michael Onwenu, who the Patriots took in the sixth round with the 182nd overall pick in the draft.
The University of Michigan product quickly became a valuable and reliable offensive lineman for the Patriots. Onwenu played and started all 16 games, while showing impressive versatility by playing snaps at guard and tackle positions.
The Professional Football Writers of America released its 2020 All-Rookie team Tuesday, and Onwenu was the only Patriots player to make the list.
