With the loss of key players on offense, it’s doubtful the Patriots will be able to maintain their torrid scoring pace. In fact, it’s already started to show the last two games. With that in mind, the play of the defense will be even more of a key going forward. Here’s a look at the seven remaining opponents on the Patriots schedule and what problems, if any, they might pose for the defense.
BUFFALO (Home, Nov. 23)
QB: Tyrod Taylor (106.2 QBR)
Offensive rank: 23rd (Rush 2nd/Pass 29th)
Primary weapons: RB LeSean McCoy, TE Charles Clay, WR Sammy Watkins, WR Robert Woods
Skinny: First time out, the Pats surrendered 32 points to the Bills and if they do that again it could mean a loss.
