Students and families from Parkland, Florida, traveled in style to this weekend’s “March For Our Lives’ in Washington and they have the generosity of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to thank.
Kraft lent the use of his team’s plane to the families of the 17 victims killed in the attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last month. Students who were injured in the attack were also aboard the plane as it headed toward Saturday’s anti-gun violence event.
Patriots spokesman Stacy James told the Boston Globe that Kraft decided to donated the use of his plane after Arizona representative Gabby Gifford and her husband Scott Kelly reached out to him.
