It might seem that high school sports just ended for the season. But before you know it, a young athlete named Mac Jones is out on the field throwing the ball around – for the New England Patriots. Training camp was open in Foxboro this week, and Journal photographer David DelPoio was on hand to capture the scene. Despite the hot weather, fans crowded in to see the team. Owner Bob Kraft was there along with coach Bill Belichick and the rest of the staff. Mac had a good outing for a rookie quarterback last year, so there are high hopes for the coming season.
