New England Patriots football is back, and so is the Lane Breakdown!
For the first time since January of 2020, the Patriots were playing in front of a live audience again. They won the game over the Washington Football Team with a final score of 22-13, and definitely had some big positives, but they also struggled in some areas, which had to be expected.

1. Rhamondre Stevenson is more than a bruiser: Fans were excited about the rookie from Oklahoma before, but the preseason opener was a coming out party of sorts for him.
