As the Patriots’ search for a head coach intensifies, many have made their pitch for apparent frontrunner Mike Vrabel.
The latest person publicly in favor of Vrabel is old teammate Tedy Bruschi, who adamantly supported Vrabel while speaking on ESPN on Saturday.
“My former team, the New England Patriots, have been absolutely a mess the last couple years in how they’ve handled things,” Bruschi said. “The only way to fix this is to hire Mike Vrabel.”
Bruschi, who won three Super Bowls with Vrabel in the early 2000s, said Vrabel “knows how to lead football players.
