Cornerback Tarell Brown missed his first practice of the regular season today due to a lingering foot injury.
Brown had foot surgery in the offseason, which delayed his ability to sign with the Patriots until July. He managed the injury throughout August and started the first two regular-season games as the second cornerback before being held to the sideline in Week 3 against the Jaguars. Brown has been limited in practice since then, but he played Sunday against the Cowboys. Brown has been limping a bit in the locker room this week.
Dont'a Hightower (ribs) participated in practice for the second straight day, though he is expected to be limited on today's injury report.
