FOXBORO — Tarell Brown has been on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to team success in the NFL.
Therefore, when the veteran cornerback came to the Patriots as their newest addition in the secondary, he had a familiar feeling.
“Great organization, great program, winning mindset,” Brown said of his new team. “When you first walk into the building, you see that they have a winning mindset. They don’t think about anything else. For me, that was great just to be around those guys. I felt the energy. I felt everything about that.”
Brown, who has played eight seasons in the league, seven with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Oakland Raiders last year, signed with the Patriots this week on a one-year deal for $2 million.
