Wide receiver Danny Amendola restructured his contract with the Patriots yesterday, agreeing to a two-year deal worth up to $8.1 million, a source confirmed.
“It’s an honor to play for this franchise and with this group of guys,” Amendola said. “We have one goal — to win another championship and that’s all we care about.”
This is the second straight offseason in which Amendola has restructured his contract. He agreed to a three-year deal last year that also lasted through the 2017 season.
Amendola has been with the Patriots for three seasons, catching 146 passes for 1,481 yards and six touchdowns.
