A Tom Brady Super Bowl LI championship ring hit the auction block on Friday.
The ring, which Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions said is one of the rings that Brady authorized to have made after last year's title, was consigned by its owner, who has chosen to remain anonymous.
The championship team pays for the player rings, but players can authorize friends and family to purchase rings that look almost identical.
The Brady ring being auctioned has 260 diamonds compared to the one Brady himself and the other New England Patriots players received from the team, which has 283 diamonds each.
