Steelers' win sets up Chiefs-Patriots playoff tilt

When the Kansas City Chiefs visit Gillette Stadium next Saturday, it will mark the meeting of two teams on totally opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to momentum.

Whether or not that makes a difference once the AFC divisional round game begins remains to be seen.

The Chiefs, by virtue of their 30-0 rout of the Texans, will come to Foxboro having won their last 11 games. Meanwhile, the Pats enter the postseason having won just two of their last six.

Expect to hear a lot this week about the Pats’ blowout loss to the Chiefs on “Monday Night Football” last September, the low point of their season before a win over the Bengals the following week set the stage for a Super Bowl run.
