The New England Patriots are sticking with Jacoby Brissett -- for now.
This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo indicated as much last week after New England's 24-3 loss to the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
But Mayo was asked again Monday whether it's "status quo" at the quarterback position as the Patriots plan for this Sunday's road matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
"Yeah. Right now, Jacoby is still our starting quarterback," Mayo told reporters at Gillette Stadium. "Even after the game, I watched that film the whole way back home.
