The New England Patriots are signing free-agent wide receiver Nate Washington, a league source told ESPN's Field Yates.
The Patriots hosted Washington on a free-agent visit Monday, as they looked to add another pass-catching target after signing Chris Hogan to a three-year, $12 million contract late last week.
In addition to Washington and Hogan, the Pats currently have Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Keshawn Martin, Aaron Dobson, Chris Harper and DeAndre Carter on the receiver depth chart.
