FOXBORO -- Dominique Easley has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season, a source has confirmed. The defensive lineman was hurt, leaving Sunday's game after collapsing with what was called a "leg injury." He didn't return, remaining on the sideline with a wrap around his left quad. A source indicated there would be no long-term repercussions from this injury once he recovers.
Easley, when healthy and in the lineup, was one of the best at generating pressure on the quarterback. He really flashed at times this season, showing his quickness and ability to beat his man up front.
