Source: Dominique Easley expected to play tomorrow against Jaguars

Patriots defensive lineman Dominique Easley is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow against the Jaguars at Gillette Stadium, according to a source.

Easley suffered a hip pointer on the eighth snap of the game against the Steelers in Week 1. The injury came with a recovery timetable of 1-2 weeks, and there aren't supposed to be any lingering effects once it's healed. Because the Patriots opened on a Thursday night, Easley has cleared that two-week window.

Easley was dominant during the preseason, which made the hip pointer all the more frustrating, especially after he worked his way back from a second torn ACL.
