Shaq Mason returns to practice, doesn't appear ready to play

Left guard Shaq Mason returned to practice today with a brace and wrap on his injured right knee, but he doesn't look ready to play Sunday against the Jets.

While the offensive linemen were in positional drills, they were doing an exercise that required them to keep a low center of gravity while doing lunges across the field, but Mason couldn't participate. He walked upright alongside the group instead. Since that's an exercise that puts stress on the muscles around the knee, it seems pretty obvious Mason won't be ready to go in two days.

Defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle), tackle Marcus Cannon (toe) and defensive end Rufus Johnson (illness) missed their third consecutive practice, so they won't play Sunday.
