Sebastian Vollmer's Patriots career is over, and now he's moving on from football.
The former Pats offensive tackle appeared on Sirius XM radio Tuesday, and the 33-year-old said he has no plans to play in the NFL again. He said he's also lost about 75 pounds.
Vollmer was drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft and played eight seasons with the Patriots before he was released on March 3.
Now, Vollmer appears to be pursuing a career as a broadcaster. He's currently attending the NFL's Broadcast Bootcamp at NFL Films.
