CHARLOTTE, N.C. — “Fun” was the key word for Scott Chandler when he described his return to the field in Friday night’s preseason game with the Carolina Panthers.
“Yeah, it’s fun,” the tight end said after catching a touchdown pass in his first live game action with the Patriots. “It’s fun to get back out there with this group of guys. Really enjoyed being around them. Lot of fun to go work with these guys. To be able to go to work with these guys is a lot of fun.”
Well, sure, he had fun, but not nearly as much as his three daughters did.
