Two former franchise greats will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame in August.
Today, the New England Patriots have announced a date for this year's Hall of Fame induction ceremony: it will take place on August 5 at 5:00 p.m. ET outside the Hall at Patriot Place. As usual, the event is free and open to the public.
Two of the greatest defenders the franchise has ever seen – linebacker Willie McGinest and defensive lineman Houston Antwine – will get their red jackets on that day.
McGinest was drafted with the fourth overall pick in 1994 and spent the first 12 years of his 15-year career in Foxborough.
