That was what New England Patriots safety Devin McCourty said after leaving early from Monday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. The veteran defensive back left the game in the fourth quarter when he took a hit from teammate Deatrich Wise Jr. as he tried tackling quarterback Colt McCoy.
McCourty, a three-time Super Bowl champion and two-time Pro Bowler, turned 35 years old before the season, his 12th in the league, all of which have been with the Patriots. The Rutgers alum finished with two tackles before exiting.
