ST. LOUIS — NFL executives have been greeted by a loud and often rowdy crowd at a public hearing on the possible relocation of the St. Louis Rams.
About 1,500 people stood and chanted "St. Louis Rams!" as NFL executives walked onto the Peabody Opera House stage.
The crowd cheered loudly when Dave Peacock was introduced. Peacock is co-leader of an effort to build a new riverfront stadium.
The Rams' chief operating officer, Kevin Demoff, received scattered boos.
Several fans at the hearing said owner Stan Kroenke has no right to move. Kroenke wants to move to a new $1.
