When news leaked to ProFootballTalk two weeks ago that the NFL might release the data from its random PSI testing, there was one obvious takeaway: The numbers the league found must look bad for the Patriots, who were caught up in the Deflategate scandal a year ago.
If the data had looked good for the Pats and bad for the NFL, why would the league disclose it?
In the late January report, PFT said the league "may be releasing a summary of the data between the conference title games and the Super Bowl." That week has passed and no data has been made public.
