Our long, national, Deflategate nightmare may soon be over.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said today he thinks the final report from independent lawyer Ted Wells to determine if the Patriots tampered with footballs during the AFC Championship game in Foxborough on January 18 will be completed "soon."
“[Wells] has not been given a time frame, I expect it will not be long,” Goodell said during an interview with host Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning Tuesday.
Wells was selected to head the investigation on January 23. Goodell was asked why the process has been so difficult.
