The NFL is nearing an end to its investigation into Deflategate.
Days after saying he had no timetable for the report, commissioner Roger Goodell told CBS News in an interview broadcast Tuesday that the investigation is nearing its end.
The league has been looking into allegations that the Patriots used improperly deflated footballs during the AFC championship game win over the Colts on Jan. 18. Ted Wells was hired the next week to conduct an inquiry for the league.
What has taken so long?
"I think it's hard because you want to make sure you have all the information," Goodell told CBS.
