Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy surprised Patriots still allowing so many big plays

What has been the most surprising element about the Patriots thus far?

The answer was pretty much unanimous from the group of NBC analysts on a conference call previewing Sunday's game between the Pats and Falcons (NBC, 8:30 p.m. ET).

It’s the number of big plays being allowed by the defense. The fact it’s still happening six games in doesn't compute, especially to Harrison, who knows what it's like to play for a Bill Belichick-coached defense.

“Even on Sunday (against the Jets). You think guys had it all figured out, and guys are still running free in the secondary,” said Rodney Harrison.
