When the New England Patriots bought their two Boing 767s last summer, the thought was that they would carry the team – players, coaches, staff – to its road games and back to Providence. However, one of the $10 million aircrafts is used differently these days. As first reported by WBZ CBS Boston, team owner Robert Kraft lent the plane to pick up students from Parkland, Florida's Marjory Stoneman-Douglas High School.
The school was hit by one of the deadliest school massacres in U.S. history last month: the attack left 17 people dead and multiple students and teachers injured.
