FOXBORO — In the aftermath of Deflategate, Robert Kraft hasn’t been doing sit-downs or interviews of any kind.
It’s been a year since he’s talked shop with any media member, but Thursday, on the 22nd anniversary of the Kraft family purchasing the Patriots, he invited me up to his office for a chat as his team prepared to play in the 11th conference championship game of his tenure.
Naturally, we talked about his amazing .500 “batting average” in the AFC title game.
Let’s repeat, that’s 11 times his team has reached the conference championship in his 22 years as owner.
