Robert Kraft is close friends with President Donald Trump, but the Patriots owner isn't taking it personally that a number of his players have already said they're skipping the team's White House trip.
Kraft and Trump had dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzu014d Abe last week, and on the Today Show this morning, he was asked whether his friendship with the president had strained his relationship with Patriots players.
"Well, you know what's interesting, this is our, I'm happy to say, fifth Super Bowl in the last 15, 16 years," Kraft said. "And every time we've had the privilege of going to the White House, a dozen of our players don't go.
